Why did we sell Kevin Kilbane?

Just thinking and I remember him being immense.

Why did we actually sell him?

Are you for real? He was [Poor language removed] beyond belief. Top 5 worse Everton players ever. Used to always make a shocking pass and have some stupid grin on his face. Rubbish.

Immense? You need to redefine your terms mate because immense he was not.

Staggered by this post.

Short memories here. He had a good first season - which is a better contrubution to the bulk of players brought in for ten bob.

Ah but we expected that because that's what he does. All of his clubs enjoyed a great first season and then [Poor language removed] from then on, that's why he has moved around so much.

The only good quality he had was charging in from the touchline and wiping out everyone in sight to get his head on the ball, despite no one knowing where the ball would end up it was fun to watch

Then we're agree the club got value out of Kilbane and that he had a good first season. So how does that make him one of the 5 worst Everton players of all time?

Well 1 season is not value for money.
And maybe I was a little harsh on him being top 5, but I did think he was a poor player.

He did a job for us, and we got our moneys worth for the job he was signed for.

The club moved up a gear, Zinedane Kilbane didn't, and he was no longer getting first team football.

He wanted first team football as he was still playing National football.

Wigan offered us money for him, deal suited all parties.

Job done.

Everyone was a winner (except wigan, he didn't do a vast amount there)
