who's to blame?

Who's your ire most directed at?

  • the players

  • Koeman's face

  • Mosh's pockets

  • forum members doom-mongering at every loss

  • no ire, Chelsea are just way better than us

Whoever was responsible for the shambles of a summer transfer window is to blame. We can't let that happen again.

It wasn't a shambles overall as we got players in who have improved us (in fact, Gueye being out yesterday is what scuppered us).

But, the failure to then add any depth to the squad was ridiculous.

So you are saying if our form slumps he should sack him then?
On A 8 million a year contract?
John Moore might if can,t see BK and Moshri doing it?
We have to trust RK not just to fetch in players in January, but farm out a percentage of costly deadwood!

No I never said we should sack him I think he is a good manger I'm saying that the buck stops with the owner.
If you give a manager a mid table squad and then don't invest in it you end up with a mid table squad giving you mid table results and mid table performances.

Just don't see 6th as the holy grail. Would be very good this year. But if we're not aiming on winning it in the next few years then what is the actual point.

It's called being realistic.

Our target is top 6/7 - on paper we probably belong around there.

Performances like yesterday are unacceptable, but this nonsense about us being crap needs to stop.

It's a miserable place on here now win or lose, it's getting boring, and I don't get some expectations.

I'd love us to win the league in the next few seasons.

Do I think it's going to happen, no, not really. It doesn't mean it isn't possible or we shouldn't aim to finish as high as possible, but we're 11 games in. We've drawn 3, lost 3 and won 5. We're higher now than we have been at any stage for the past two seasons.

We need to improve and January is vital - though it's a very hard window to overhaul too much.

So you dont like Evertonian and superb u23s manager David Unsworth then.

ok lol

I've got nothing against the man to be totally honest, even if he does sign his parcels with a drawing of a rhinoceros. I just think the obsession you have with the idea that he should be our next manager as a result of work with the u23s and one game against a relegated team is, to be quite frank, unhealthy, and based purely off of a really weird desire to promote from within. It honestly would not surprise me if you wanted Stubbs in when Moyes left.

You've crossed the line there and are deliberately trying to hurt my feelings :(
