As pointed out previously, he turned down Spurs in the summer.
He’s not just going to jump when somebody flashes him a bit of leg, especially unstable clubs like us and Spurs with gung-ho owners.

I think Potter would come tbh. He’s got Brighton mid table - they aren’t going to be challenging for Europe, and as such he’s just not going to offered a job at a top 6 club.

The absolute best his next move would be is the likes of Leicester, Villa or West Ham (all have solid looking managers in place) or.. Everton, who would probably double his wages.

I think he might come if it was the summer tbh, but I am under no illusion; this is not an attractive post. I struggle to see him wanting it now.

Even if he would, the other stumbling block would be compensation. We have spaffed so much money on compensation pay-outs to managers and their teams; how much would it cost us to buy him out of Brighton?? I reckon they would - rightly - take us to the cleaners.
