Genuinely looking forward to this season, been a bit non fussed in recent years but hopefully no more worries about premier league safety or impending doom!.
Would be great to get Europe again, been far to long, might be overstretching this year but you never know.

What do I expect?

A stress free league season without relegation fears.

A long run, deep into the later stages of one or both cups.

A derby victory.

What do I hope for?

A trophy or failing that a European place via the league.

Bad start to the season , probably lose at Leeds , the collective head of GOT , will fall off , Moyes will moan about signings ( again ) we will sign a couple of journeymen and Moyes will have us around halfway by the end of the season.

I think the squad is stronger, but I'm going hate it if we start the season losing matches at BMD.

Looking forward to it. A comfy 9-13th finish as long as we add a couple of quality additions . I think we'll give someone a proper 6 0 battering at the new ground this season also.

Realistically about 12th feels our level. The new stadium has bought a different, positive aspect to a new season. It does feel like a new start, a sort of 'New Everton' if you like. [On this note BRING OUR STATUES WITH US to push back against that feeling- rant over]

But we are dealing in realities here, if the team continue to be (I will be polite) 'not the best' then the usual negative vibes will kick in across the fanbase - starting with the manager/players then if nothing improves...the ownership.

There are a lot of moaning buggers on here but football is just about back and I can't wait. I am predicting close to 60 points and a top half finish.
