Mirallas.
Football, in it's simplest terms, is about scoring more than your opponent. He's the best attacking player we have at the moment, although a touch inconsistent - but that is wingers by nature.

He'd be first on my team sheet for 5 a side if I had pick of the Everton squad.

I went for Rom on the basis that scoring is the hardest part of the game and he would be the hardest player to replace.

He's tailed off a bit, but a couple of years ago Baines was one of the world's best left backs for me. Definitely top 5. So him.

Stones has the potential to be even better.

.....I understand that the players themselves recognise Pienaar as the most talented at the club.

Lukaku and several other players have said Barkley is the biggest talent at the club. "He has something that no one else does".

Really it's probably between Coleman Baines and Stones. All three can at least claim to being one of the best in the league in their position. None of the other players come close. There'd be a debate about whether McCarthy is the best midfielder at Everton let alone the league and Lukaku and Mirallas are nowhere near the class of Aguero Hazard Costa Silva etc. Coleman is possibly the best RB in the prem and Baines was one of the top LBs in Europe. So if you're going for attacking players then you just like goals and it's the same reason only Cannavaro has won the ballon dor as a defender. Relatively speaking though, you cannot deny our defenders are far superior to our midfield or attacking players.

As said above, many ways to look at this.
I used the rationale of, if I were another club and allowed to take 1 player from Everton who would I pick.
Based on that I chose Stones. For his age, he is superb. Great potential and future (with us).
