Baines for his loyalty when he could've gone somewhere more likely to win a trophy.
I'd have also liked to have seen big Dunc win a trophy properly. Let's be honest Amokachi had more to do with '95 than he did!

I just assume Bobby would have run off Cahill if he'd stayed, for doing things like "trying hard" and "caring a lot."

Remember being absolutely gutted the day he went to Sheff Wed - As gutted to see him leave as he was to. I don't think I've ever seen a player as genuinely pleased when we won, or as glum when we lost.

Dave Hickson famously said he'd have broken every bone for Everton - Mick was the same. Me eldest brother used to cop for spares off him, too. Once stopped him from trying to chin Andy King on the train home after a defeat against one of the london sides (WHU?) because king said he wern't arsed they got beat.

Sorry, I never really held the Charity Shield in high regard but if it means Harvey won a pot then I'll count it from this day on. Totally agree with Latchford too.

Never got the dislike from some toward Lineker - he's said recently that we were the best team he played for and didn't want to leave. Player contracts were different then, they had little say.

He also said he held a grudge against Howard for ages after, he said "i scored 40 goals and he got rid of me, what more was I supposed to do"?
