Player Valuation: £750k
If (because it seems set to be certain) Lescott were to join City in a part-exchange deal, which player/s would you like to join us in return?

I think Martin Petrov is good and may be surplus to requirement at City. I know he plays Pienaar role but it would give us fantastic options in terms of squad size and quality as I can't see anyone else who can play on the left.

I may also give Pienaar the chance to play in the centre or the right???

I'm starting this thread because I've heard Dunne's name mentioned, and would very much NOT like to see him back here.

Richards or Santa Cruz. That's it really. Wouldn't take Tevez or Toure or Barry or any of the other Crapticos.

Stephen ireland and micah richards and I would be very appy.

Michael Johnson! He is quality, I think he has lost his purpose at city. He is a white mans Jo...except...he is better. Also Shaun Wright Phillips. Should be interesting to see how many games SWP gets this season.

If Lescott does leave. Ryan Shawcross and Michael Turner would be on my list. Senderos would be OK but sadly a defiant no to Robert Huth way to slow. If we have our chance at a player plus cash. I would have to take Petrov I very much doubt if Michael Johnson would be surplus but you never know.

What Everton needs are ball handlers that don't play kick and run. Unfortunately, this preseason and in game one(Arsenal) thats all I have seen. We desperately need Arteta back from injury barring that we need at least two playmakers that can dribble a bit and find space and actually give our strikers a chance with a finely executed pass. If we keep bypassing midfield like we have we will be in dire straits before christmas. This word of the russian winger is bringing to interest me. However, Moyes said in the AGM that don't expect any first teamers has this changed due to the Lescott saga?
