Yeh, there is the bitter irony.
I guess there are two points, neither or which I have answers to (or strong opinions about, tbh):
1. Is staying in the top division the touchstone of success for them and is that coloured by their historic positions? Brighton finished 6th once, Brentford never higher than 10th for e.g.
2. How sustainable is the model and what would need to go wrong to break it? How much is down to luck?
As i say, more passing interest than any opinion on it. Apart from being bored of hearing about what a great model they have, I've no strong like or dislike for any of them (nor could I envisage how anyone might).
