I think "specialist in failure" are now the team to chase for 4th, with Arsenal still having to play, Chelsea, city, spurs and us, it is on

We beat arsenal nd are game in hand thats a 5pt gap without city, Chelsea smashing em.

It will be;
1. City
2. Chelsea
3. RS
4. Arsenal
5. Everton/Spurs
6. Spurs/Everton

Its Lukaku V Adebayor for 5th!

Think you've nailed it here mate. I see the incredible happened at WHL and Soldado scored! Spurs away to Chelsea this weekend...they wont get anything imo

Aim to have a barnstorming March, win every game and then see where it leaves us.

I'm sure the manager will look at the season in segments as well as just the usual take each game as it comes, and our March fixtures are something to give us heart after a bad run.

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. RS
4. Everton/Arsenal
5. Arsenal/Everton
6. Totenham

Lukaku's fitness/form is the biggest deciding factor in where we finish. I think Sherwood will slowly start to get found out big time at Spurs. He's not good enough, and Adebayor will dip in form soon.

I agree with this. I genuinely believe, especially if we progress in the FA cup this weekend, that arsenal will slump further and we have every right to believe we can still achieve top 4.

This is my top 6. Personally believe we're better than Spurs and Man Utd at the moment. We won't catch RS, they just score too many goals. (Even though 90% of their goals are from counter-attacks, penalties, or incredibly lucky goals, they still count as goals.) Arsenal will probably dip in form.

gaining 4 games on Arsenal with 10 games left will be difficult. Arsenal only need to win 3/4 to finish ahead of us.

Arsenal are 11 points ahead of us, even if we win our game in hand, 8 points ahead and a better goal difference. No chance !

I'd fancy our chances to beat them at our place. That reduces it to 5 (if we beat palace), which is easily reachable given the run in they have over the next few weeks.

I'm not saying we are going to catch them, but if we manage to get 3 points against them, surely you've got to feel a bit optimistic?

Our last five games are City, Arsenal, and United at Home, with three away games none of which are easy.

I'm not even thinking about it, our best finish is 5th and i'm hoping we finish above United and win the Cup. That's the best we can hope for from this season now.

Arsenal have got the following next 3 leagues games;

Tottenham (a)
Chelsea (a)
City (h)

We've got;

Cardiff (h)
Swansea (h)
Fulham (a)

I reckon there's a big possibility of them only getting 1 point from them three games. If we get 7 points from them 3 games (which isn't a big ask), then we'd only be 5 points behind with a game in hand wouldn't we?
