IMO we where outplayed three times all season.

The obvious one, Chelsea and Palace.

You can't really argue with that. Even the early season draws we where the better side in the main, it just hadn't clicked. A while back 78 points won the league. We're not far off those levels of performance. An outstanding season whatever way you look at it.

A few mental chains have been broken too. That'll stand us in good stead.

In 2007-08, the yakubu year, we got 1 point at home vs the top 6, 1 point away vs the top 6, 21 points at home vs the midtable 9, 20 points away vs the midtable 9, 15 points from home games vs the bottom 5 & 7 points from away games vs the bottom 5.

God what an awesome flat track bully of a team that was. Lethal vs anyone not that good. 63 points out of a possible 84 vs the bottom 14.

Arsenal at home, Brilliant game and fantastic atmosphere with Colemans nutmeg of Corzola being the highlight, He kept such a straight face when he done it like it was nothing.
Also Man U away sensational when Bryan scored, oh the limbs.

We did just fine - 84 points if we'd have hung on to our best result in each game (would have won the league). Our best is very good but we have to learn how to beat the likes of City when we get 1-0 up.
