Who should replace Frank Lampard?

We literally threw 5 games from the off so basically we needed to get 40 points from 33 games....this from a side who barely mustered that over the course of a whole season last season.

Gross negligence on an epic scale.

We had better results and performances from that first 5 games though.

The last five games have been 100% worse.

Basically Moyes would keep us in the league and will be available soon so I'd have no problem with him coming back because our options are very limited if lampard goes after city game
Agree with you, he wouldn`t be top of my list to succeed Frank, nothing is guaranteed but Moyes would be the next best thing... I think you`d see a fairly instant upturn in form under Moyes. He doesn`t suffer fools gladly.....

We looked as flat as anything in those first 5 games (apart from Leeds away where we seemed to carry a threat)

But up top we were dreadful against Chelsea, Villa, Forest and Brentford

The last 5 games have been the same because in all honesty nothing has changed. They brought in a striker who unfortunately isn't very good at playing up top by himself.

We won't be winning many games until this is addressed.

Vincent Kompany is doing a good job at Burnley.

Early season when we went quite a few unbeaten and barely conceded I thought a corner was being turned.

As shyte as we are there’s someone somewhere who can do a better job than this surely.
TBF Kompany is doing well, but you have to caveat it by saying he basically has a team that has been in the Prem for 6/7/8 years or whatever it is, probably has a bigger budget than most Championship sides and perhaps even has the luxury of parachute payments to steady his ride. Maybe he'll be a top manager, maybe not, but I'm always cautious about managers who do well with teams that are the big fish in a small pond.

Challenging for Europe?!??! Have you had more lunchtime beers than me?!?? The closest we are getting to Europe with this squad is a pre-season friendly against Guernsey. Even if Pep was here let alone Moyes.
Think he means in time. Possibly even a short space of time (year or 2)

Moyes would be my realistic pick tbh.

If he becomes available as you suggest it’s because WHam think he could get them relegated.
This lacks any logic whatsoever.
They won't get relegated with Moyes in charge, but haven't achieved anything near what the owners and fans probably expected at the start of the season, there expectation is Europe or top 10 are's is survival only
