Joel
Coleman
Garbutt
Jags
Stones
Besic
Barry
Baines
Luk
Kone
Mirralas

Bit harsh on Barkley but I think we need a solid midfield with baines able to provide a decent cross

Alcaraz Barry has the potential to be the slowest thing ever, but I don't see a lot of options really unless we throw in Browning at CB?

Yeah definitely, think that was one of the better forces we had. Just scared of it being prone to mistakes but then again we have nothing else left to try anymore!
It work becouse Besic took pressure from Barkley and let him lose ancoring him all the way. Think McCarthy Besic could free wingbacks and Barkley to play relax and cover, but really cover our defense. And then let them play in system, young guys , dont like to lose , i can't see better way to turn around this.

I always thought Bruce was some sort of tactical dinosaur, but he's tried EIGHT different formations this season. Credit where its due for at least attempting to find a solution...

It's got to be..

Robles
Coleman Hibbert Alcaraz Garbutt
Mirallas Besic Barry Baines
Naismith
Kone

Hibbert swaps straight out with Stones/Jags if they are fit, would probably prefer good ol' Hibbo' to Distin atm. Can't be any worse right?

Barry seems to be playing poor atm, and if McCarthy is available I would rather him in the centre.

Naismith deserves a place over Barkley, as does Kone over Lukaku. NEA.

Though if Martinez is really all about changing the formation for the game i'd try something like this 433;

Robles
Coleman Hibbert Alcaraz garbutt
Besic Barkley Barry
Mirallas Naismith Kone

I think Martinez has got into all our physique, no disrespect to your team selection but it's the 3 up front away from home with a injury ravaged side and reserve keeper. How about 1 up pack the midfield and go for a clean sheet.

I like Bruce tbh, seems a nice guy and underrated tactically.

All going pear shaped for him this season though and not quite sure why, when the transfer window closed a lot of people felt he and West Ham had done the best business behind Chelsea.

Whoever we put out please just [Poor language removed] win, get beat and my dwindling positivity will be tested further! Let's start 2015 on the right foot.
