Dave "put it into the stands" watson. Could do with some of that nowdays alright
The one position I always felt if we could have improved was right back, don't get me wrong Shaggy was great for us,just that he could at times "switch off" mentally,he was so athletic most occasions he could recover his own errors, that came back to haunt us with that "pass" at wembley in 86.:(

Griffiths, Coleman, Unsworth, Alcaraz, Garbutt, Besic, McCarthy, Barkley, Mirallas, Kone, Lukaku.

Midfield 3 of Besic, McCarthy and Barkley. Mirallas off Kone and Lukaku. Should I be gaffer ? Definitely not.

Kone can fill out wide if Osman is injured. Him, Naismith and Mirallas behind Lukaku. That gives us 4 players who are actually a threat to the opposition goal.

Surprised at the number of people wanting to see more of Barry. He was mince today and has been for some time.

Also surprised at people demanding to see less of the tiki taka playing it out from the back, but also asking for Alcaraz to play - seems contradictory to me.

The real worry from today is McCarthy. If he's out then we HAVE to go to a 442, surely?

Keeper
Coleman, Stones, Distin, Baines
Mirallas, Barkley, Besic, Oviedo
Kone, Naismith

i am hoping the weather plays its part and we have a few games off due to snow ,because i am afraid at the moment it looks like we could put any team out and it would get beat were that fragile.

My team vs Hull, assuming people are fit:

Howard

Coleman Stones Jagielka Garbutt

Mirallas Besic McCarthy Baines

Naismith
