Naughton - we haven't met Sheffield Utd's valuation

Tuncay - seems that we want to pay £4m which is some way below Boro's valuation

Defour - it was previously reported that Standard's valuation was 15 million euros. Yesterday's Echo suggests that the story in the Indie was incorrect, and we've not yet raised our bid to this level

So : if it's a matter of finding another 2 or 3 million quid to make a serious offer for one of these players, which one should we make our priority ? Or should it be someone else who I've not mentioned ?

I don't think Defour is worth anything close to £ 13 Mill. A Belgian Villa fan wondered why Villa fans wanted him when we were linked to him, he said he was voted the most overrated player in the Belgian league. He said maybe £ 6 Mill was acceptable, but for some reason Villa fans gets all excited when it's a foreign name.

IIRC he also said Fellaini was the arguably the best "EPL-player" of him, Defour and Witsel.

Well I disagree, the consensus is that he's boss. He's even boss on football manager which is Everton's scouting system! So I don't think he's over-rated. He was boss against Everton too.

Also I don't rate Fellaini

A right back and an out and out winger with pace. Dont give a [Poor language removed] who they are as long as they're good.

Our whole right side is gash. We also need a winger that can be utlised on both sides.

The Naughton bloke, from my mates who follow the Championship, say he'd be a quality signing - he's an up and down right back with a superb engine. Small, nippy, skillfull a baines on the right - was the main threat in the play off final last season.

He's a realistic shot.
