I think some players are simply being upstaged by their counterparts at the minute. Hibbert is not in the team due to coleman's good form. I think Hibbert will play when sheamus is out the team for whatever reason.

The players who will be leaving'/not part of the plans will be;

Heitinga- Stones has been the go to sub in recent weeks which shows how much Robbie likes Johnny.
Jelavic- Even when Lukaku is ran into the ground he doesnt trust Jelavic to come in for 15 minutes a game.
Gueye- Vanished from the first team picture, probably not good enough.
Naismith- Robbie will turn to him as an option now but by the summer i think he will be on his way.
Vellios- Clearly isn't ruipping up trees at the club and not going on loan just tells you he will rot away in the reserves until his contract is up.

And maybe Naismith too if we can find somebody better than him.

Problem with duffy is pace mate, something that unless he becomes a VERY good reader of the game like mertesacker will limit him at the real top level, Im more excited by the prospect of Lundtsram tbh, think he just seems to fit the martinez mould on a centre mid a lot better than duffy does at cb

Duffy's sheer size and dominance in the air could prove a useful attribute that could make up for his lack of pace, provided he can improve on other aspects of his game, as you mention.

Lundstram is someone I'd like to see more of. I've heard a lot of positive comments though

We've got a talented bunch in our youth ranks who I fully expect to step up if given the opportunity

I've posted about Lundstram at least a half dozen times, but I'll do so again. I'm very keen on this lad. Looks so promising whenever I see him. I fully expect him to be part of the 1st team picture next season under Martinez.
