Post-war as otherwise Dixie would dominate the poll.

Could be a close one...and stats aren't everything, some of these won major trophies. Tho' some of yous will define not on what the team won but simply how excellent the striker was. Almost didn't include Lineker but one golden season is still something to cherish so he's in (also why Yakubu gets a slot).

I'm guessing Sharp will win, with Joe close behind, but personally my vote goes to Bob Latchford. Supreme striker who was just between two great eras so missed out on trophies.

Lineker was utterly deadly. Get's the nod for me despite only being one season (how did we not win anything that year? Ffs). Big Bob and Sharpy obviously up there too, alongside Rom I guess, seeing as he's the best we've had since Linekers time. Others were way too early for me to cast my vote upon, legends though they may be.
