Wildcat

Player Valuation: £500k
I have a number of players who made me turn up week after week,
Alex Young,
Roy Vernon,
Tony Kay,
Martin Dobson,
Bob Latchford,
but for pure skill and entertainment Duncan Mckenzie was a dream, wish
we could get another like him.

Only started following Everton back in 1985. From that era, Big Nev and Peter Reid spring to my mind, more than anyone else. Wasn't that much media coverage, or internet back then, so it was much harder to follow the Blues. Also Kanchelskis was pretty good, but I'll go with Blue Truth and mc Bain and say Tim Cahill for me. Maybe not the best abillity wise, but do I love him.(y)

Well, do you mean Greatest whilst wearing the shirt, or greatest that has worn the shirt at some stage?

Gazza would be in the latter for me, but I don't think that's what you're after. Did Sylvester Stallone actually put one on during his visit? (He was pretty good in goal against the Nazi's during the war...)

For a serious vote, put me down for Southall! (y)

For players I've see,

Alan Ball.
Nev Southall.
Duncan Mckenzie.

Before my time,

Dixie Dean.

In my wildest dreams,

Me. The skills of Bally and the goals of Dixie. I wish.

From my experience watching the Blues, Big Nev has got to be the one.

But as for being a through and through Evertonian , it has got to be Mick Lyons.

Of all time? Would have to be Dixie.

Since I have been watching:

Southall

Honourable mentions for

Lineker
Sheedy

Sorry but none of the current team have reached their level. Rooney would have been in there if he had hung around for a couple more years, but really his time was too fleeting and he had a lot of awful performances too as he was hardly the finished article.
