Who does your dad support?

I'm the first in my family to support a football team but you can bet that my kids will be supporting Everton.

They already know that the red team is "bad."


"Daddy, we don't like Liverpool do we?"

"No son."

"We like Everton right?"

"Yes son."

"Yeah, we don't like that red team."

(Turns on TV and Manchester United is playing.)

"Hey dad, there's that red team that we hate."

"Well that's not the same red team son but you can hate them too."

"Daddy, what are they called."

"That's Manchester United."

"We don't like Manchester United."

"No son, we don't."

"We don't like Manchester United or Liverpool."

"Right son."

i'm a 4th & my kids are 5th gen. two of them have been 'baptised' but the youngest has yet to be introduced to his religion.

they thought it was awesome when i explained to them in the st. that their dad, grandad, great grandad and great great grandad had stood where they were watching the game.
