Sorry HWB i really can not fatham your loyalty to this waster, and besides my point was moyes was right to leave him out as we won again without, rumour has it he was ledt out because of discipline, he turned up late for training, now i dont know if this is true however he has had loads of chances and would much rather give it to a youngster who is hungry for the team than him who could not give a [Poor language removed] and moyes obviously feels the shame, which is good enough for me. In his time at goodison he has not done anything and you will say he has never been given the chance to obviously because he does not deserve his chnace as time and time again he lets moyes and the team down and in turn lets us the fans down. Moyes knows this waster better than you or i and if he leaves him out Good. Lets not get carried away with the fact he used to play for inter milan so he must be good. He attitude is obviously crap.

Because on his day and given a chance he is 1 of the most skillfull at the club. Certainly someone who can give more problems to a side than a defender/midfielder. But if he has f**ked up again then fair enough

VDM won't last longer then 20 minutes.

As much as i'd love to have a player of his quality on the wing, he's not fit enough to be playing from the start and sadly will never be.

He's a good player, I have no doubts about that and I think he can contribute. No one can say he's proven to be a [Poor language removed] player, he simply hasn't played enough to judge him.

But his off the field problems have been the reason for that aswell as his relationship with Moyes. We just don't know the full story.

If it was a home game I think Moyes would've used Van ahead of Gosling as the onus was on us to get forward. Away from home Gosling is the most likely to work hard and cover his fullback.

Van der Meyde is a luxury player, I think he'd be a useful impact player for us. Nothing more nothing less.

Because for some people, myself included it's quite obvious he is very talented. People do overrate him but having seen him at Ajax and Inter Milan he is a good, exciting player. He's showed glimpses in an Everton shirt also when he's been given the change.

He's [Poor language removed] up his Everton career because of his problems off the pitch. He's made alot of mistakes and even before Everton it was well docemented that he had problems. That's the main reason he hasn't played aswell as injuries.

I respect your opinion though, it's very divided when it comes to Shandy Van der Meyde.

He has the ability, I think his legs would let him down though. He'd pick up injuries easy and get tired quickly.

If Osman, Arteta and Pienaar are fit then he should be nowhere the team, I'd have them over him any time. If it's a home game and we are lacking creative options then I'd give him a go. I think he can offer something if he's given the chance.

Only if we are lacking options though, that's the only time I'd consider him.

I think it doesn't really matter as Gosling played well.

He's got a good engine and was neat and tidy on the ball.

I'm not going to go mad over his performance too much because it wasn't a MOTM performance but i was pleased with him and he did well considering it's his 1st start.

I'd like to see how he does against a better side, but i was very pleased with the lad today.

Agreed for his first run out i was estatic. Argyle lost a good one to us on this one. He needs more composure in front of goal. Reminded me a little of Collison for West Ham.
