I'm pretty sure if United win then another place for Europe opens in the league, which can only be good for Everton.
 

Villa by light years, because United have had more than their fair share of success over the years.

not in the league cup, if the winners have already qualified for europe through the league than the carling cup spot goes to the next highest place in the league.

man united for me, leaves a bitter taste in my mouth still from tottnham winning carling cup and i put villa in same bracket.

mostly want man united to win for euafa spot tho.
 
On a moral level, I want Villa as I can never root for United unless its against the Red [Poor language removed].

However, given that we're fighting for a Europa League spot, I think that a Man U victory might help us out in the long run if we miraculously pull into 6th or 7th at season's end.
