Kenny Dalglish? He came back to Liverpool and has been utterly pants as manager. Even so, he has won more than Moyes has in 10 years. He is a WINNER.

Moyes is NOT a loser, and I would never say he was. He has so many great qualities. Being a WINNER isn't one of them.

That was why we lost yesterday.

Re; the above post - I am not advocating Dalglish as our manager. I just like rubbing salt into my own wounds - as most Evertonians do. :)

I am fortunate enough to get to watch a lot of football right across the country, for me there is only one man that could come in. This is what I think is going to happen, EFC have recently given Moyes a new contract, why? Personally I think he WILL go to Spurs as Moyes is now under a longer more well paid contract with us, it will cost Spurs a lot more to get him as Hawwy IS off to be England manager come the end of the season. The managers leading the vote Brenda Rodgers and Paula Lambert are far far away from our radar, they are not what we are looking for, we as Evertonians require the following:

Passion & Pride
Attacking football
Someone that has played the game to a decent level
Someone we can respect ie not go out into a 2nd half winning 1-0 and defend

There are loads of other things and there is only one manager that I believe we could get and thats Paulo Di Canio, I think he would be well received and well respected by us fans.

I have watched Swindon a few times this season with work and their attacking, passing and free flowing football is magnificent. Di Canio has worked wonders on what was a very poor team, recruited some shrewd buys and transformed them into a really good team for that level. I think he is definitely worth a punt because I am afraid Mr Moyes your time is up, over ten years now and what have we won?

I am not bitter, I am Blue we have been knocked down but as usual we get up dust ourselves down and get on with it, but I fear if the next 2 or 3 games go against us and European football doesnt come back to EFC it could signal a bad period for us. Saying that could this current squad cope with playing in Europe. Anyway get Di Canio in FFS

Anyone who sets his teams up to win games, installs faith in their attacking players, doesn't get every single player back for corners, and who doesn't defend one nil leads.

I'd be happy with that guy.

This thread is a pile of ****, Moyes needs to go, Kenwright won't sack him and he won't resign. And we have no choice in his replacement , let's get real.

eh? so you're of the opinion that Moyes needs to go yet you don't wanna see a thread about which new manager fans want in?

Your contribution is a pile of ****, mate...the thread is fine.

Get a ****in grip, it would be absolutely fantastic if the fans cold choose the next manager, just like it would be fantastic if we could choose the team to play. We all know we wold have won yesterday and be in another FA cp final and Europe next year. This thread is a pile of dog **** for tools to dream. BTW I did vote on this earlier and voted for AVB I think he would bring youth and vitality to the team. It's not going to happen so let's get over it an forget this crap.

eeeeehhhh? is your sense of reality so warped you think that we think we are choosing the next manager by way of this thread?

This thread is the answer to all those "but who would replace Moyes?" comments you see on every thread. As you can see there's plenty of decent realistic candidates, and each and every suggestion came from forum members.

You want to ban all threads which hint at possible future transfer targets because in reality we actually have no say in the matter? You might as well ban internet forums altogether then...

You're an idiot. I didn't say ban the thread, I expressed my opinion that it's a pile of dog **** which it is, yes there are realistic candidates and as I pointed out I have voted, get over yourself.

Whilst we may express an opinion we will never be involved n the selection process so if you can explain how a thread asking for opinions on who the next Everton manager should be isn't a pile of dog **** then go for it.
