I'd argue the opposite, mate. People expect him to be flying in for challenges and winning every aerial ball because he's a blue and consequently gets more stick.

Compared to the flak the likes of Rom gets, even though he does his job of scoring, Ross is treated like a little prince. You are right we do expect him to compete that bit more than the rest, thats why its so disappointing when he doesnt and half the time he doesnt look arsed.

Agree with you on Rom, mate. At least where I sit, though, Barkley gets tons of stick. Granted it's more deserved than the stick Rom gets.
