Pienaar when he is discussing leaving Everton to go to Spurs?

He's standing next to the pitch at Goodison and nearly breaks into tears when asked about leaving the club.

Would love to see it again, top Blue.

Was he crying at the thought of the extra money he was getting going to Spurs? Decent player on his day, which have become fewer as time has gone on.

I'm not knocking him for wanting to better himself - they're all mercenaries, just to varying degrees - but the way he ran his contract down, we sold him with 6 months left, then bought him back within 18 months at a lot more (plus the loan fee), added to the disruption it caused to the team, I think it was all a bit un-necessary.

I remember someone posting on here he'd been down to St Mary's with his agent to discuss a move (from Spurs I think?) and he looked thoroughly disinterested. He was very lucky to get the move back, but him and his agent made out of it, so that's okay I suppose.

It was when his second loan spell ended wasn't it? He'd left, come back, and simply didn't want to go back there.
