This is not true he could of played JOB and Tarks which when tried won all our games. We seemed to fall apart when we lost Gana and had to play Tarks and Keane together every week.
Ok not had to, but decided to. Garner right back, JOB centre back, Dewsbury Hall in midfield and another in the attacking 3 would have been great to see when it was clear what we were doing was not working. This is not true he could of played JOB and Tarks which when tried won all our games.
James Garner went from a player I'd drive to his next club to an England international so he certainly gets a bit of credit. Started all 38 games for us across 3 different positions. Outside of him I think you'd struggle to name another.
It is so depressing that these are amongst the best bits we can try to salvage from that car crash season.Garner, KDH, Ndiaye (although the latter two faded badly, pretty much in line with the team's form) and Pickford.
It feels like a stretch, but Michael Keane probably had his best season as an Everton player, so that probably merits a mention.
He's still miles below the required standard, but I'd probably also point out the visible progress in Beto's game which can't be an easy thing to do at 28.
Yeah I agree with that but I'm reluctant to put Branthwaite in that category as his injury record is so poorNdiaye, KDH, Garner, Pickford and Branthwaite on the playing side for me.
He changed nothing - we changed a manager who wanted to hoof 24/7.James Garner went from a player I'd drive to his next club to an England international so he certainly gets a bit of credit. The Moyes Outers.Name the players, management, or other affiliated with the club to come out of the season with any credit.
Now who's setting the standards low.The Moyes Outers.
Your welcome.
I feel like we need a poll on if folk think Moyes will pipe down the doubters next season. The Moyes Outers.
Your welcome.
O'Brien gets away with murder on here it's wild. He's been absolutely shocking in virtually every single game he's played but it's like everybody's scared to say it. I genuinely sympathise with him for having to play out of position but we shouldn't shay away from saying his performances have been woefully inadequate.Pickford, Garner, KDH, Ndiaye 100%
Branthwaite and Grealish when fit.
I also think O'Brien shouldn't be thrown any bus because he's done as well as can be expected in the wrong position.
There are a few others who are mostly acceptable for a mid table PL team but unfortunately for them I want a title challenging team squad so I wouldn't be overly concerned if they were replaced.
In fact, it might only be Pickford who we couldn't readily get better for even if we had sufficient funds so the others could be let go if it's for the overall benefit of the team.
When's the World Cup?
