Who are the bitter ones?

This thread will probably get moved cos it's not about our team but thought it was worth a mention.
Tonight's game Barcelona v Chelsea was watched in my neck of the woods (Woolton) by myself and a few friends from work,blues and reds.
Now it was apparent before the game kicked off that the reds wanted Barcelona to win,whilst me and the other blues wanted Cheksea to win.
Upon asking the reds why they wanted Barcelona to win the reply was "I don't any English team to win bar us". .
This was apparent with all the reds out watching the game

Why is this?

They call us bitter yet they hate us,Man Utd and now every other club that threatens to win there holy grail........

Really,honestly who are the bitter ones?

They're bitter, but so are we.

We hate them and no matter how much they try to hide it they hate us, United and anyone who has success.

Notice the rivalry with us is stronger since they stopped challenging in the top four?

But we only hate one team..
They hate Man U and every other team that threatens anything they have ever done...

To be fair it's a double edged argument........... i hate them... with a passion... my mates who ae red hate us..... but... some of them would prefer us to win any trophy they don't......... is it because they dont want the mancs to win ???? I don't know but some of my red friends are genuinely pleased when we win....hard to believe i know.
