You know, that guy, always here, can't understand a word and punctuates in triplicate?

Missing the old bugger.

Tourism officials are predicting a sharp fall in the number of British cricket fans heading to Australia for this winter's Ashes series.

Numbers are expected to be down by almost half compared to 2006, with fewer than 20,000 supporters now likely to make the long journey from the United Kingdom to watch the battle for the legendary urn.

ffs fewer than 20,000 !! a trip to the other side of the world and the comment is making it sound like wigan or boltons away following. Looking at it another way though...

20,000 on trips just for the cricket
expats
backpackers over there on work visas (there'll be tens and tens of thousands of them in the country maybe even 100,000).

so basically when they play in some of the grounds there will be over 50% of the crowd English. When i went to the SCG they reckoned on 28,000 out of 40k were from the 'arl country.

So a piss poor turn out lads, get the Barmy Army on !!

The LCAB v Mc- whatshisface banter is going to be epic.

Abit like that advert on Sky when Shane - whatshisface is having that night mare and he's shaking him saying "what ya think of that Shane?"
