Where will we finish?

Just been thinking there was a thread about would missing out in europe next year be a good thing? i thought no and got the feeling everyone thought the same. we could loose players, we all enjoy european nights at goodison, etc. This made me look at the table and think we could finish anywhere between 4th and 10th at the min. Where do you think we will finish. we are 9 points of [Poor language removed] with a game in hand whoo are 4th, City are 5th and they have a game in hand on us. spurs 6th we have a game in hand on them and only 8 points back. Also looking at our remaining fixtures we only have this tough month and then we played all the so called big boys just Villa to play after that.

1. Man U Home
2. Spurs Away ( would rather play them there they always do us at goodison)
3. Hull Home
4. Birmingham away
5. Bolton Home
6. Wolves away
7. West Ham home
8. Villa away ( tough game)
9. Blackburn away
10. Fulham home
11. Stoke away
12. Pompy home

In the form we are in we could win most of theses ties, i know it wont happen like that and there will be other influences but i really think we can go and at least get a europa spot out of this season especially the way spurs have gone.

All of those away fixtures look tough to me. You've pointed out Villa as the tough game but Stoke, Birmingham and Wolves will be no easier in my eyes.
 
Just take each game at a time...I would like to think we could make top 6 , but that really is a hope more than reality. Top 10 after our horrendous start would be an acheivement. All those away games look tough to me too.
 
i think all the games will be tough especially the last couple
there will be teams fighting [as well as us] lets just hope
we can win the fight!! im going for 7th place, obviously id like
to see us finish in-between 4-6 if we was it would be very tough
still in for the europa league which also will be hard. COYB!!

I reckon to finish 5th or 6th is not out of our reach, however given the start we made to the season a 7th or 8th place finish must be viewed as a good season with the little investment we have had, especially since spurs, villa and city have all been able to spend.

We also need the teams above us to lose. For a realistic view of our chances it would be beneficial for the fixtures of our challengers to be put up for comparison. Anyone got the detials?
