The Springfield,The Oak,The Brick on The County Rd.The Winslow and The Spellow right beside the ground are all great before a game.

I remember the first time I went to a game ( when old enough to drink) and wew went to what we were told was the taxi drivers club?? good cheap pint and just over the road was a lovely chinese chippy. Good few years back now though.

the spellow is a good pub for a few pints before the game, also fine birds behind the counter:P
you will have to watch out for the owner a big white hair man who watches you chat them up:lol:

great pub good beer and crack to be had in the spellow its my pub when i get over drop the bags in the hotel
straight out to the spellow well i'd have 1 or 2 in the winslow first just to call in but most of my drinking is to be
had in the spellow lovely crowd in it great Everton pub i'd fall out of it about 9 o'clock that night if its a 3 o'clock game into a taxi back to the hotel a bit of food in the chinese under the ST.George hotel then down to matthew st. for the night.
