There's about 20 pubs on County Road that are literally a 2 minute walk from Goodison. There'll all usually quite packed, but The Black Horse is huge, spacious and has about 12 TVs if there's an early match on. Go there.

Ignore all of these popcornerz.

the spellow is a good pub for a few pints before the game, also fine birds behind the counter:P
you will have to watch out for the owner a big white hair man who watches you chat them up:lol:

great pub good beer and crack to be had in the spellow its my pub when i get over drop the bags in the hotel
straight out to the spellow well i'd have 1 or 2 in the winslow first just to call in but most of my drinking is to be

Get a taxi to the black horse early, they do quite nice food, a nice pint and it's good in there.

Stay there or head for a bit of a walk down county rd, have one in the Glebe, the county, the Chepstow and then go over the rd in to tesco and buy a few cans and stand outside the spellow for a bit !
