I don't blame Sam Allardyce, the football isn't good enough at the moment but he has had a great number of games in the time he's been in charge. He has made the defence better, but we have to improve midfield and attack, and now we will have a full week in between games I think we will see improvements, but they will have to be massive improvements!
The Bournemouth performance was the most disappointing by far and I think the players were responsible, poor passing and just setting them up for attack, maybe it was tiredness, but unacceptable nether the less and I just think some aren't good enough and we are severely lacking in areas.
The most disappointing thing about the season is we have wasted so much money on players that are not good enough, will we ever get this opportunity to spend 150+ million on our squad again?
Going into the season without a good enough striker, a completely unbalanced squad, buying players that play in the same position, overpaying on average players, Steve Walsh as the director of football has been the biggest failure by a country mile and I feel our poor season lies with him. Yes Koeman was a part of this transfer failure, but Walsh is supposed to above him in his role (guessing here) so should take the blame
