Where does everyone sit (goodison)?

Where does everyone sit? is there a general consensus on the best place to sit?

What do you want at the game? It's like when you're choosing a car to buy, there's no "This is perfect, all of the others are poor" option so you've got to list things in order of importance. Do you want to go solely for the atmosphere? If that's the case go in the Gwladys Street. If the view is the main thing you're interested in go in the Main Stand. The Park End & Bullens/Paddock are somewhere in between so it's all about what you prefer. The view on the Top Balcony is good I believe but I've also heard it compared to Newcastle away, which doesn't even seem like the match because you're so far away.

I've sat in the Main Stand since I started going because the view is fantastic but sat in the Gwladys for the cup run & am hooked so I'm there from next season

Lower gwladys defo. You'll get all the songs there, and you can quite royally throw yourself about when we score. The view isnt great as your more or less level with the pitch, but its the place to be for atmosphere. Dont get a seat far back like row QQ or somethin. ******ell, you can only see half the pitch.

I sit in the Lower Gwladys and to be honest there's nothing special about it despite what people say unless it's a big game.

Top Balcony for me, when I can get there! The away end at St. James' seems a far greater climb to me (somebody's gonna keel over on their way up one of these days!) & the viewpoint seems far more remote from the pitch.

The reason I ask is that im getitng a season ticket so I dont really want to be sat somewhere I won't be 100% happy with. I've been round quite a few stands over the last few years but can't really make up my mind myself !!!

Park End , G31 . Been there since it was built . Before that Upper Bullens , and Park End in the old days .

I'm also thinking about buying my first season ticket (x2) and sat in different places and can't decide where to go. Trying to avoid posts in the way :blink:

Today season ticket availability seems to be quite a few seats with obstructed views--when the renewal day comes up anyone know if a load of better seats suddenly becomes available??

I like the atmosphere, the tea is on tap and theres ample parking.

A lot more will become available when the deadline for season ticket holders to renew their current seat passes (y)
