I've liked him for years and have been frustrated by his injury record. Given that record, and the fact that top players need to be dependable and on pitch, he needs to be realistic with his wage demands, or go elsewhere if the offer comes- which I don't reckon it will.

Stay cheaply - I'm happy.
Go and be replaced by someone we can rely on - I'm happy.

The club, first and foremost.

The signs were that he would. Considering he scored an excellent goal in the game vs spurs.

He has his brilliant moments, Villa goal away was good, Rome in pre season last year or that goal was classy.

But for me, these moments are too rare to be seen with then also very shocking misses in key times, which is the majority in his case.

If only he could finish a one v one.

My preferred option would be for him to sign for less wedge on a 3 year and sell him on next Summer.

I bet his agent would rather make sausages from his own langer.

I’d rather he stay but only if he wasn’t the guaranteed starter. Manage his fitness and appearances properly alongside either Beto or another striker we bring in. Mainly because striker is by far the most expensive position footy and in theory Moyes could squeak a few more goals out of him, but it’d be foolish to expect him to be playing 30 games at his level of fitness/injury proneness.

Regardless, I think he’ll go, and I’m alright with that and all.

I have no doubt he would play better under Moyes, the only thing is Dyche was able to keep him fit for longer spells than anyone else has. Perhaps Moyes wanted more work in training and in the games themselves than what DCL's body could maintain, hence him being injured by the 3rd game.

I was disappointed that he sustained a hamstring injury last season which kept him out of the side for a lengthy spell of matches. If you were to ask me, I would say that we still have not seen enough of him under Moyes.

However, that does not necessarily mean he should stay. Either way, I am not too bothered whether he stays. Although, whatever happens, we will need to identify and sign at least one adequate replacement. There is also a strong argument for signing another striker even if he were to stay.

As others have mentioned, he may well go due to a strained relationship with the supporters. Sadly, I think some supporters have an axe to grind with Calvert-Lewin and this may be one of the factors which could lead him to the exit door. Should he depart, he will leave with my best wishes, as he has served the club well and tried his best.

His touch to start the set of up Doucs for the first goal vs Brighton away (the 1-5) is ridiculous, one of the best pieces of skill anywhere in the league that season.

I want him to stay for two reasons - because I've always rated him despite the absurd way a succession of managers used him, but mainly because he will come good somewhere else.
