Isn't that just the most depressing commentary on our current state?

We are all pretty much resigned to the season starting the week after next :(

I'm genuinely sick of them games to be honest. The Anfield Derby has become a prediction of how much we will lose by. Anywhere from 2,3, or 4 is a safe bet. And if it's a draw there it will be one where the game has been utterly dull or we just about scrape an undeserved draw. Barely any chances, poor football. It's the same for those other grounds as well although we seem to be capable of getting draws more easily at places like the Eithad than we do at Anfield.

I know other teams fans have it far worse than us for most things, but in them games against the top sides, in terms of percentages, not many can have as poor a win record than us in the last 25 years. No wins at Stamford Bridge since 94, Arsenal away since 96, Anfield since 99, 1 win since 92 at Old Trafford, last win at Spurs was 2008, City was 2010.

And then there are the games where any other side would grind out the victory. But not ourselves. We take the lead late on at the Emirates with a sublime chip from Pienaar, only to concede in added time. We were on course for victory at OT last season, only to throw away a 94th minute equaliser. Go 3-1 up in the tie at the Eithad for the SF getting an early away goal, and go out 4-3. Score in added time at Chelsea to retake the lead after being 2 goals up just after the break the other season and concede a 98th minute offside equaliser. Dominate Man United in he 2nd half at Wembley, then miss a pen and lose in the 92nd minute. I could go on...

How do we sort it out either? From Moyes to Martinez and now to Koeman, all sides under those managers have had this same inferiority complex when heading to those grounds away from Goodison.

What is this.....the RAWK Alternative League Table where the cultists disregard actual results and base the table on what the par for any particular game is :pint2:
I had no idea what this comment meant, but a quick google search and wow, they have graphs and everything!
