When was the last time we GAINED points late in a game, not LOSE points???

no 90 mins play in us. longer it goes on the more other teams have a greater chance to win and latter is often the case

Good teams win games late on a regular basis. And it's as much mental as physical. We're on the receiving end far too often.

It's a crucial part of good seasons. You need to steal some points.

Our inability to play for 90 mins is crippling us.

We lose more than we gain. Far more. And it's because we rarely play for 90 minutes. I just think the mentality of the club is to accept second best and it needs eradicated.

Of course on another day we win that game and something drops for us at 1-1. But things go against us far too often for it to be merely bad luck.

Was it really as far back as Cleverley vs Newcastle? That's bloody depressing. Best thing he's done. Not relating to the league, that Martial goal in the semi final to send us out the cup still hurts. The game definitely deserved to go longer than the 90 minutes.

This is the first time this regime has lost late points, anything can happen once. It's certainly not a trend. Yet.

I'm not blaming the manager. Koeman has a very tough job on his hands and needs financial help.

I'm blaming the entire culture around the club in the last 18 months or so. It's so comfortable for certain individuals. It makes no odds to them whether we win 2-1 or lose 2-1 today. I don't think a lot of the players care enough.

Try 18 years

(with the notable exception of Bobby's first season which reminded us oldies and showed the youngsters just how good Everton can be)

To be honest, I'm not bothered about whether we win games with late goals.

I would rather we did the business early won with an early goal.....or better yet had put the game to bed after 75 minutes or earlier :dance:

Haha...of course.

I think the biggest frustration was doing the late business at Bournemouth and at Chelsea last season. Surely we got the late winner...then utter frustration.
