When do you put the heating on ?

Just swapped from shorts to joggers this week.

Definitely earlier than last year.

Will be getting nagged to stick the heating on in the very near future.

Came home tonight and most of my radiators were on.
Got Tado TRVs so they activate / draw heat individually.
Looked at the app and was greeted by this

Almost got tempted this morning but I toughed it out.

Snap, stuck a hoodie on then it warmed up and still a decent temperature this evening.

I’d have it on in the middle of summer if I’m cold.

I don’t get why some people feel the need to wait for some arbitrary part of the year for it.

One of my best mates is gas fitter and he said one of the big reasons peoples boilers fail going into winter is because the lay dormant all summer.

He said even if it's for 20 minutes you should run it during the warm weather.

First day of no shorts for months so I’m trying to get to October. No doubt my daughter does the usual turn the thermostat up to 30 at 2am trick before that.

I prefer the cold weather....I struggle in the summer.

Because am recovering ginger the sun doesn't agree with me.

Give me big coat weather anyday.

Just put mine on for the 1st time tonight, there was a bit of a chill in the air. Also thought it would be a good idea to try it out now in case there was a problem that I could get fixed rather than leaving it then there being a problem when it's too cold.

Yes mate. Don't even know what weather would make me put pants on. Had them on today with a coat braving the torrential rain up here today.

But to be fair if you seen my legs you'd understand why they're always on display.
