When did Billy keep Moyes for so long?

Inner-city

Player Valuation: £2.5m
From when Moyes took the Everton job 11 years ago he was linked to Man U. They offered him the assistant job and he said no. Ferguson has always been finishing in few years for the past 11 years and Moyes was always in the media speculation frame. It was clear he would go to Man U when Ferguson left. No secret. The big question is, why did Kenwright keep Moyes for so long when his heart was not really in the club? He was always looking over Kenwright's shoulder up the East Lancs Rd. While Everton made him a very rich man.

You do realise the pro-Moyes brigade now have nuclear weapons don't you

I agree der lad, its a der joke dat like, we should haf well binned off der moyes like 9 der years ago and got der Owen Coyle in.

Dat der Owen Coyle wouldnt have binned us off for der United and dat.

MOYLES OUT

Moyes got a bit emotional at that press conference he did, i'm not a Moyes fan but his heart was deffo in it.

It might just have been because despite some failings, he was doing an excellent job in most regards. He has turned us around and spent f all. Feel free to castigate Kenright, there's a huge list of available options but keeping Moyes because he might have eventually left for Man U isn't on it. Who should we have sacked him off for who wouldn't have left us for Man U and done at least as well as Moyes? I'm dying to know.

Do you have point?

As a chairman I would rather have a manger that is 100% for the club and is not looking at the next job. If Everton did get a another manager, who knows, the club could have been in the top 4 most of the time.

I am doing just that. The Man U job for 11 years was always his. He just had to get time in, in the Prem to bide his time.

Don't you think if he never gave 100% or had his heart in the club that he would of lasted 11 years. Surely he would of been sussed out. Also calling Alex ferguson a C**t wouldn't of help his cause if he was just biding his time.
