Need to get me dad to make one of them hooks he used to put in the leccy meter that made it spin the opposite way.

To be honest today we lit the small gas heater in the Conservatory for the first time this year, the Conservatory is quite large and has a been opened up to the House about five years ago. The Central heating comes on automatically when the House drops below 18 degreees, ( I think), well it came on the first time this year yesterday.

When I feel cold. The base is so high that you won't save that much from not putting on at all

I live in Scotland in the middle of nowhere. It’s effin freezing 90% of the year. I’ve had it on 30 mins a day for the kids. Need to melt the icicles of their face every now and again.

My central heating is currently kaput. Although I have a service/maintenance plan I might just hold off for as long as I can so I won't be tempted to put the heating on.

I'm old enough to remember when household central heating was virtually unheard of and the glass panes in the old metal frame windows would freeze on the inside at night in the bedroom.
