Everytime I see videos of old raves I wonder what those people are up to now. Always get a weird sadness to think of them in mundane jobs

I went to see the orb a couple of years back and it looked like a 50-50 split between senior accounts and society's drop outs.

I was mates with a girl, who used to go to some real heavy drum and bass nights in Birmingham. She was tiny, must’ve weighed about 7 stone, but she was capable of consuming industrial quantities of chemicals during the night.

She tried to get me to get me to go to a few, but I hate drum and bass and also having a strong sense of self preservation, always declined.

I wish I still some of the clips that she sent me, as they’re genuinely frightening. Full scale battles between rival gangs, knives and machetes, all going on whilst hundreds of kids, off their heads going nuts on the dance floor.
