Now there are some foods I can't eat due to texture, rather than taste. I'm guessing cold egg gives you a similar ick?

It's my cupboards that are interesting...my missus has every sauce, seasoning and rub under the sun.

Her being half Asian Scouse kinda requires your cupboards to be choc full of wild and wonderful things.

A croque madame with a side order of fries. Dinner might well be skipped tonight.

Actually had a pretty big breakfast exactly with the intention of skipping lunch: two egg omelette with fish tofu and chicken, raw chopped tomatoes and fried garlic on top and a nice big squeeze of sriracha sauce. Going to be eating southern spicy Thai food tonight so wanted to leave myself with a nice big appetite for later.
