Wayne Rooney's new burst of form has convinced MUPLC that they'd be better off keeping him and so can't line up Moyes as a cut price replacement for ol' red face when he succombs to an inevitable coronary while delivering a half time hair-drier.

Or they promised him Ian Ross's Blackberry.
