Player Valuation: £1.5m
Hypothetically speaking, say Moyes takes Felli and Bainsey to Man U, (or they go somewhere else), and we get £40m+ for them.

This money plus the extra tv money clubs will get next year, combined with the substantial reduction in the wage bill with Neville, Moyes leaving and the two hypothetical departures of Felli and Baines would mean we will have a hefty sum of money available to us.

So what would you rather do with it?

1. Reinvest it in the squad, or
2. Use it to pay off the clubs debt and help us find a new owner?

My heart says reinvest, but my head says clear the debts.

Yes, bit of both.

There is no point clearing off the debt to the detriment of the team as that way lies a possible relegation and more financial woes.

And there is no point splashing it all on the team if the debt is going to increase.

It's only now when you put all the changes like that about to happen do I realise how close we are to meltdown.

It's going to require a very, very good manager to come in and steady this boat now.

No point in paying off the debt; its a major step backward. Within 5 yeras you'd be servicing a second debt and that would gradually climbing, the club doesn't earn enough off field revenue. Invest in the squad, hope you hit the jackpot with a new manager

Any cash we make MUST be reinvested, no point in letting Billy Liar waste it in a black hole for finding this mythical new owner who'll prob never come. The new manger will need as much cash as possible.

I don't think we are going into meltdown mate, so don't be too disheartened. We are moving into a transitional period (to coin a crappy footballing/management phrase). We have a chance now to changes things on and off the pitch. I know we are a pessimistic bunch to say the least, but I'm not too down at the minute.

Obviously the new manager will be vital to both sides of the equation.

we need a new stadium in order to have new owners so the latter option wouldn't contribute anything

Sell Baines and Big Hair - clear the debt, tell the 3 amigos in the main stand to do one and bring a new owner who has a wedge and a clue.

Biggest worry for me when this all started with the Wigan loss and Neville being dropped from that game on. I can't see Felliani staying as Chelsea really want him and Baines will probably follow Moyes. We do need a new zest and champion some of our younger players to pick up the pieces. I worry about a meltdown who doesn't as questions are being asked in all quarters but I still feel we have enough to get through with the right management to come in quick and fill in the holes with decent to good players in the summer window. I can't see us setting any records with transfers.
