What would you miss most?

Don't get me wrong, Jelavic has disappointed this season, but he's not an average player. For me, he's just lost a lot of form due to the new style we've adapted too which just hasn't suited him well. Fellaini's aerial presence has slowed the attack play down whereas last season midfielders would pick out Jelavic's runs and movement very well.

I would like to think that you are right TM. However, what has concerned me recently about Jelavic is the fact that even when he has got into the right position and the ball has got to him, his shots or headers have been weak. His goal against City took a deflection and he can't even seem to put a free kick on target (though why he takes them I don't know as Baines should take every one of them). I find myself wondering whether the goals that he scored in the period just after he joined us were just a bit of a "flash in the pan".

Maybe things will change when Fellaini goes but I'm not too sure....

Loss of confidence I'm thinking mate. Due to him not scoring very often his confidence has gone right down the drain and doesn't believe he's going to score when he gets the chance. Goals against Sunderland and Spurs was a little glimpse of the old Jelavic we saw last season but unfortunately he went back to normal. If he can string a couple of goals together from now until the end of the season that should set him up well for next season.

You could be right there mate so I'll reserve judgement for now. Hopefully he'll have a stormer and we will beat Spurs on Sunday with a Jelavic 25 yarder. That would be nice and the uplift in morale could see us finish the season in style.

That would be nice indeed mate, an inform Jelavic would help us a lot in the run in.
