Three comments:

1. Heitinga;s best position is CB, not DM - and the way he's playing there right now puts him ahead of all but a fit Jags IMO.
2. McBain is right - Cahill (when fit) is always a starter. Do you lot not notice what he does outside the opposition box? Even yesterday look at the number of times he found space in mid, made himslef available, received and used the ball, drew fouls, and got into great positions in the box severak times - not his fault that the service was below par.
3. McBain is always right - see fit birds thread for evidence.

So my starting 11 if all are fit and in form:

this team based on a fully fit and players playing at the top of their game.

many of those players are playing well below their best right now though.

and i think bily is behind osman and pienaar. imo it's 10 million wasted. 6 million for distin looks a bit steep too, especially as he is past 30.

Can't argue with you too much - Yak on top form could oust Saha for me as well, and Bily could go either way, at times he looks sheer class, just not enough times.
