Im heading over to liverpool 11th-13th november with 7 mates from belfast and was just wondering if any of the local lads could suggest a few good bars/clubs. booked the flights hoping we'd beat blackburn in carling cup then get a home draw...but I suppose any1 of those would have been asking for too much.

have been out in liverpool quite a number of occassions, usually consists of drink all day, angels/aphrodites earlyish then somewhere about the culture square (is that the right name??). just wondering if iv been missing out on any other good spots.

i always visit the blob for a beer too!!!!! long story......

Depends how old really, 18-25 year olds go down Wood street (near central station) - Djangos is a good bar, most of them down there are. Theres also the Krazy house - a club open till 4 on thursdays and fridays, 6am on saturdays.

If your 25-60, the best places to go really are the pubs down Renshaw street and Lime street...

The're not a bad side, deserved a result against the RS and were solid against us even without Fellaini!

No seriously its the same as anywhere after you've had a skinful

No..seriously, the girls aren't too shabby(y)

Baa Bar isnt too bad, Society is decent but you have to have a gay look about you to get in :)

Its not difficult for you to get in then :P Ayyyooooo...

...The gay and lesbian club (may be baa bar i dno), on John stret or Victoria street (or around there) is good - Nothing better than getting off with a bi/lesbian bird. haha

Not a local obvious, but I often go into the Flanagan's Pub in Matthew Street. Think it's a great place to have a drink and there are often some good bands playing downstairs. Only the toilets are a letdown though:D

Agree with all that. The Cavern is always sound for live bands too. Good pint of Guinness in there. Matthew Street rocks at the weekend. Rubber Soul if your looking to pick up (y) Oh and a nice pint of Cains in The Grapes where the Beatles used to have a lunch break.
