[Poor language removed] actually mate.
Got a really bad pain down at 25m and wanted to go back up but obviously couldn't or would have caught le bends.
Had to abort but took forever to get to surface.
Before the thread closes, can I relate something I saw while on holiday in Cyprus a few years ago

my wife and I sat on the rocks in a small bay watching about six people being shown the ropes on this scuba lark, it was about 4' 6" deep where they stood, anyway, off they popped and under the sea they ventured, missus and I swam around a while then sat on the rocks again putting our sandals on when in the distance, about thirty yards away, a young lady's head popped up from the briny....she was yelling..."help me! oh God! help me" panicking like fcuk. :blink:
we looked over in amazement :blink:.....another head popped up and it was one of the tutors, he held her head as they swam nearer to us towards the shallower water. (gettin' excitin' yet?

)

I shouted to the tutor..."do you need any help, mate?" he said..."you could take this off me" as he gently stripped the lady's scuba bottle from her back, I asked him what happened, he said she saw a small fish come out of a little hole and panicked. I could have sworn the way she was screaming that she'd had half her torso ripped off by a shark.
As soon as she emerged from the water, you'd never have thought that a few minutes ago, this young lady was terror stricken, chatting away as tho' nothing had happened.
Amen.
