The squad we have right now couldn't cope with a game on a Thursday and a game on a Sunday, not at full strength anyway. We have 1 decent CF who won't be here.
Barry and McCarthy cannot continue to play every game

The Europa league is a double edged sword. It will mean progress for Everton but it could also hamper league performance. For anyone that says we had good league seasons in the past when in the Europa, that statistic doesn't mean we won't in the future. It does have an impact on the league, we've just been fortunate in the past it hasn't had too much of an impact.

Just read through this thread and although I think we are a massive club with a very good squad, well capable of achieving CL I do think we are becoming the perennial under achievers. We threatened to get 4th, that appears to be gone now, threatened to get to FA cup semi and with the teams left would definately had a chance of winning it. But that's gone now.

All that is left for us now is the league which I believe that the best we can achieve now is 5th, it remains to be seen whether we compete for Utd or Spuds for that position, squads that have more player, quality and clubs that have massive financial clout.

All in all a good first season for Bobby and I pray to god he can improve next season. My only concern is that we have started losing big 4-0 to the [Poor language removed], 4-1 to Arsenal. We have only scored 7 goals in the last 8 games and 3 of them were against Swansea whilst conceding 12.

Some very winnable games coming up so lets get behind the team and roar them on up the table........

So the FA Cup semi final draw means the Europa League places will only go down to 6th place. Either Hull City or Sheff Utd will take the spot instead.... If they want it.
