What kind of reception will you give Rom when he comes to the old lady with his new team

I'll applaud him, he gave us 4 seasons and scored a hatful of goals, anyone who abuses him after we've pocketed £90m is a ted imo

He done well for us and was always clear we were a stepping stone for him. There's nothing wrong with that, I admire honesty from a player. He could have signed a big fat contract and then threw a tantrum to leave. Instead he refused and said he wanted out giving us plenty of time to do our business and deal with the situation before the season started. In the end you can't hold it against a man for wanting to join United rather than stay with us.

Never been one to boo players and won't be starting with a lad who scored plenty of goals for us and always played when fit

He is a few years ahead of the new Everton in progress and rightly deserves to play at highest level

Won't miss the international pantomime that happens or his agents games though

But thanks rom and good luck

Will get the same treatment as any opposing player, will not be booing him unless he is a tit. He gave us great service and we are getting near world record fee for a limited player with great strengths but glaring weaknesses. Thanks Rom but he is now just another Manc.

This reminds me of the hacks who put the email message in the subject and leave the message part blank.

Applause. He's been our best striker in the Premeir League era. He's been here 4 years and we haven't taken him to the Champions League. He wants to play in the Champions League. He's leaving us to play in the Champions League. He's been honest throughout if a little bit of a beaut and he is getting us a world record transfer fee on his way out.

People will boo though obviously because they're Evertonians. We booed Sean Davis for failing a medical.

Clap him, he never pretended to love us. Did a great service, could go on to be one of the best ever.

Sold for what's looking like a world record.

Cheers lad

Def wouldn't boo him he strikes me as the sorta player who could put 5 past us out of spite. Happy to just ignore him and get a rye smile when the first pass he receives bounces off his shin and sends us away on the break
