What is your earliest memory?

…..apparently as a 2yo I painted the coal white in our back yard. I can’t remember that but around the same age I do remember splitting my head open on the table I could previously walk under. It will have been 1958 or 1959, we never owned a car and I remember my Dad carrying me from Everton Rd to Myrtle St hospital in a really thick fog.
could have been worse, could have been seeing stars?

Being taken by my Dad on the back of his moped to the cemetery where my Great Grandma was buried (she had only recently died). He rode the moped up to the grave and the cemetery keeper came and told him he had to leave his moped by the gates in future. When I asked my Dad why he said so that the noise wouldn't wake up the dead people.
Didn't bother me as I was convinced that the cemetery was where Rag, Tag and Bobtail lived so nothing bad could happen. Would have been the summer of 1959.

…when I was a tot, my Dad told me that Dixie Dean was so good in the air, he took penalties with his head.

I remember my 1st two years of junior school...infact I remember my reading assistant same class couldn't read properly either and I thought use was us.
Also remember pishin myself after the teacher refused my pleads to use or us the bog.
I always try to remind my kids about early stuff but they just forget.

Getting dropped off at nursery in CFMOT for the first time and melting down. I think it was the first time I would have been left with strangers.
I know it's a real memory because I only have bits of images but all the emotion. Remember the room had lots of light from windows, can't remember the building, or room shape or going to it, or staying the rest of the day or ever going again.
