What is up with Dele Alli?

Deli is basically Kev from 'Derek'.

He just keeps turning up.

Why is he still here?

Because it's not costing us anything. I personally believe he's very, very unlikely to get a deal here now, and even if he does, it will be heavily incentivised.

I think the most likely outcomes from this are that he either gets himself back to a reasonable level of fitness and gets himself a short term deal in Scotland or the Football League, or he has more setbacks and jacks it all in.

Some clubs let players train with them even if their only actual issue is that no club has offered them their 25k (example) a week yet. I've got no problem at all with Everton helping somebody who has more to worry about than just his next contract.

I think he’s more likely than not to get a contract here, unless TFG intervene.
If there was no chance of playing for us I believe he would have been packed off to Spurs to provide former player support etc.

This entire scenario is incredibly strange.

Also incredibly strange by the club to have a huge name in football training with the club, without pay, for months, without any type of comms on the situation
