How do we judge that though? It is very similar to saying "I was under orders" by basically implying that they had no other choice. Yet we have no sympathy for those soldiers who probably were under orders. Where do you draw the line?

This is the hard part in all of history. However whether he did it or not, what is to be achieved at the age of 94.......
 

From what I've read of this, some of the Jewish people in his camp have forgiven him. I'm not sure where they stand on his jailing though. That should be taken into consideration as the victims though.

He's had a good innings, he's admitted to what he's done, but the time to pay for it, no matter what he has left, is now. If he truly felt bad he would have come forward a lot earlier.
